Have you ever wished someone going on a journey or facing a challenge, “Godspeed”? What is Godspeed? How fast does God move?
Many of us, myself included, would probably say He moves too slow.
Look up at the moon some night. How fast is it moving? It seems to creep across the night sky at a snail’s pace. Actually the moon is screaching across the sky at an average speed of 2,288 m.p.h.
Doesn’t seem that fast, does it. Many times it may seem that God doesn’t move fast enough for our purposes.
Actually, He’s not moving fast or slow. He’s moving at Godspeed, which is exactly the right pace for Him to accomplish His purpose in us.
But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. Habakkuk 2:3
