Please Pray For John Ed Mathison

john edDr. John Ed Mathison was my pastor at Frazer United Methodist Church in Montgomery, Alabama for 14 years. He writes a blog post I publish each Thursday on For His Glory.

He retired several years ago and founded John Ed Mathison Leadership Ministries. John Ed speaks and teaches across the country and across the world.

He will be speaking at the Lions Roar Global Men’s Summit in Dallas, Texas Thursday, October 2.

This Summit is sponsored by Christian Men’s Network which represents over 400,000 pastors and churches internationally. This Summit will launch the Global Fatherhood Initiative – a worldwide partnership of leaders and organizations focused to offset the effects of fatherlessness and help stop child abuse. The goal of this Summit is to launch Biblical discipleship of men in every nation of the world. It is about building strong men, strong families, and strong churches.

Please pray for John Ed and for the influence and outreach of this Summit.

About Steven Sawyer

God blessed me with the gift of writing. Mom told me I wrote paragraphs in second grade when others were learning to write sentences. I spent more than three decades in professional writing gigs. For the past eight years I've combined my passion for writing with my love for the Lord. He and I write a Christ-centered, family-friendly blog to glorify God Monday-thru Friday at https://stevensawyer.wordpress.com/. My wife and I have four grown children and two precious granddaughters we co-parent with their mom. I'm a Galatians 2:20 disciple of Christ seeking to allow Christ to live His life in me, through me, and as me.
