. . .God is working in you

The Bible teaches us that God is at work in every believer 24/7/365. He does not take a lunch break or take off work early. He doesn’t set you aside to work on someone else. He doesn’t ever give up on you, even if you give up on yourself.

“He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

God has created you for a wonderful purpose in His master plan. He has chosen you before the foundations of the earth and given you special and precious gifts He urges you to use for His glory.

It is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose. Philippians 2:13.

The Creator of the Universe continuously pursues an intimate relationship with you. Yes! YOU! So He can shower you with His grace. Don’t miss His grace.

About Steven Sawyer

God blessed me with the gift of writing. Mom told me I wrote paragraphs in second grade when others were learning to write sentences. I spent more than three decades in professional writing gigs. For the past eight years I've combined my passion for writing with my love for the Lord. He and I write a Christ-centered, family-friendly blog to glorify God Monday-thru Friday at https://stevensawyer.wordpress.com/. My wife and I have four grown children and two precious granddaughters we co-parent with their mom. I'm a Galatians 2:20 disciple of Christ seeking to allow Christ to live His life in me, through me, and as me.

  1. I just finished the book “the me I want to be” by John Ortberg, it is right down the lines of your comments and scripture references. A very comprehensive read (recommend).
