Was Jesus Crazy?

jesus

The man told Jewish officials he was the Son of God.  They worshiped the law of Moses. Jesus claimed to fulfill that law. Jesus claimed no one could come to God except through him. He told them if he died he’d rise again on the third day. He told the people he came to save them from their sins.

Or was Jesus a liar. Did he know the things he was saying weren’t true. Was he lying to gain some advantage or social status among his people?

Or was Jesus simply a good teacher, knew lots of scripture and enjoyed persuading people he was special.

Or maybe he didn’t say all the things the Bible says he did. Maybe the Bible writers just added things he said to make their stories more believable.

Or maybe He is exactly who He said He is. Maybe He is the Son of God. Maybe the only way to have a relationship with God is through Jesus. Maybe He actually did choose to die on a cross to save us from out sins.

Every person will have to decide who Jesus was and is and will be. Only one decision is true. It leads to life with God forever. All the others lead to separation from God for eternity.

  2. YES! WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE!

WHILE JESUS ISN’T CRAZY,.. THE WORLD IS!

“THE WISDOM OF THE WORLD…IS BUT FOOLISHNESS, IN THE SIGHT OF GOD! ”

” GOD USES THE FOOLISH THINGS OF THE WORLD…TO CONFOUND THE WISE! ”

” THE CARNAL MIND, IS ENMITY AGAINST GOD! (THE ENEMY OF GOD…BE-CAUSE THAT’S WHERE SATAN’S BATTLE GROUND IS! “LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU…THAT IS ALSO IN CHRIST JESUS!” THAT’S WHERE REAL PEACE IS!

MANY THINGS GOD DOES….IS FOOLISHNESS TO THE NATURAL MIND!!

“GOD SPOKE THROUGH A BURNING BUSH, AN ASS, (HE STILL CAN TODAY) A CLOUD, WRITING ON A WALL, WRITING IN THE SAND, AN ANGEL, PROPHETS, A WHALE(JONAH HAD A WHALE OF A TIME), IN A NATURAL BOOK CALLED THE BIBLE…THEN SAID; ” THE IT’S DEAD LETTER TO THE NATURAL MAN..AND THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN UNDERSTAND IT, IS BY THE SAME HOLY GHOST REVELATION IT WAS WRITTEN IN! (THAT’S WHY WE’VE SO MANY MISINTERPRETATIONS OF IT).

GOD IS GOD…HE CAN DO ANYTHING HE WANTS TO DO, ANYWAY HE WANTS TO DO IT, THROUGH ANYBODY OR THING HE WANTS TO DO IT THROUGH, ANY TIME HE WANTS TO DO IT… THAT’S WHY HE’S GOD!!
    AMEN? -B.D.

  3. Carole Castagna Steven, your questions have merit and are thought provoking. I believe you are trying to reach the unsaved. Thank you for taking on a very difficult topic: people have questions…. May I offer some constructive criticism? Your questions, however, come across as though they are more in line with questions that would be asked by an agnostic rather than a follower of Jesus Christ. For this reason, the reader may not have a clue as to where to find the answers. Decisions about Jesus need direction with factual statements that result in the kind of research that leads the inquirer to truth. In the line of questioning you propose, you omit question or direction leading the inquirer to the one single truth that validates the entire life and ministry of Jesus. The Resurrection! His words: “I am the Resurrection and the Life”; “Because I live you shall live also;” “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through Me” have the force of truth because of the resurrection. As a Christian I know the answer to your statement “Only one decision is true.” As an inquirer about it, I wouldn’t know where to begin. Lead the reader to Scripture in the Bible. Trust my comments are helpful as I too want everyone to be a follower of Jesus and not a fan. Sincerely, Carole

    1. Carol, thank you so much for your thoughtful comments and constructive criticism. And I would certainly be wise to follow your suggestions if I were targeting the unsaved. My blog, however, is intended for followers and believers in Christ, not those who have not yet accepted Christ as their Savior. Most all my comments come from those who follow FHG, or respond from email links I send out each day to several hundred folks. Thinking over the past five years I can’t think of any comments I have received from a non-believer. God has made my mission statement very clear to me. As appears on my home page my blog posts are Christ-centered, family friendly devotionals that glorify Almighty God. The rest of my mission statement is: “and encourage the saints.” I have a tab on my home page “A Relationship with God” specifically for anyone wishing to pursue more about God and what a relationship with Him means. I have in the past referred to that tab in posts. Until God changes His purpose for my blog, which He specifically laid out several years ago, my focus will be encouraging believers and challenging us all to examine our faith and our relationship with Jesus. Funny thing about many, if not all the posts God gives me to write: He’s challenging me and sanctifying me and encouraging me along with all those who come to FHG. Thank you again for your thoughtful comments and encouragement. You have blessed me and strengthened my faith today. May God richly bless you.
