God has adopted us. The word adoption is a legal terminology used when a person takes a child without parents and makes him his own. When the child becomes of age, he has every legal right to the adoptive parent’s estate, property, wealth, and money.
We have every spiritual blessing in heavenly places! Look at how God makes the best out of the mess created from the fall of man. Our salvation encompasses so much. Ephesians is my absolute book. Here are powerful truths from chapter one and two. God’s best for us came through Jesus’ death and resurrection.
- We are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ
- We are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ
- We are chosen in him to be holy and blameless in his sight
- We were adopted as his sons (and daughters) through Jesus Christ
- We have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace
- We are the praise of his glory
- We have the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance
- We have the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better
- We have the same power that raised Christ from the dead
- We are alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions–it is by grace you have been saved
- And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus
- It is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this, not from yourselves
- We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works
