Making Friends Outside Facebook

facebookTake a break. Laugh a little. This is too funny. A Facebook “friend” sent this to me. I just had to pass it along to you.

For those of my generation who do not really comprehend why Facebook  exists.
I am trying to make friends outside Facebook while applying the same principles.
Every day, I go down the street and stop passersby and tell them what I have eaten, how I feel, what I did  the night before, where I work and where all I have lived.
I give them pictures of my family and my dog as well as a few selfies and pictures of me taking out the trash and putting on my socks
Then I listen to their conversations and tell them I love them.
And it works:
I already have 3 followers:  two police officers and a psychiatrist.

About Steven Sawyer

God blessed me with the gift of writing. Mom told me I wrote paragraphs in second grade when others were learning to write sentences. I spent more than three decades in professional writing gigs. For the past eight years I've combined my passion for writing with my love for the Lord. He and I write a Christ-centered, family-friendly blog to glorify God Monday-thru Friday at https://stevensawyer.wordpress.com/. My wife and I have four grown children and two precious granddaughters we co-parent with their mom. I'm a Galatians 2:20 disciple of Christ seeking to allow Christ to live His life in me, through me, and as me.
