I’m trusting two Bible verses to help me act more like Christ in all my relationships, especially those with my family.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up, according to their needs, so that it might benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29

Take note of this, my bretheren, everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because man’s anger does not produce the righteousness God desires.
James 1:19-20.

think

I can sure use these suggestions before I speak many times. Maybe doing so will help me avoid that nasty shoe leather I taste so often.
