A Fix for Vertigo

EDITOR’S NOTE: Again today, this post has no spiritually redeeming qualities. But I hope the information will be helpful for readers, or friends of readers, who suffer from vertigo.

After I lost hearing in my left ear, I started experiencing occasional bouts of vertigo.  I’m one of more than seven million vertigo sufferers in the U.S. alone. At the onset things start spinning and moving about. I lose my balance and can’t walk. I must stop what I’m doing and drop to the floor. Then I get sick.  It’s an unpleasant, scary experience.

A friend sent this video to me about a vertigo fix. Dr. Carol fosterFoster, Director of the Balance Lab at the University of Colorado, invented what she calls a Half Somersault Maneuver. She is herself a vertigo sufferer. So far the video has received over one million views on YouTube. The home remedy works.

I hope I never have another vertigo episode. But if I do, I’m hoping this fix works for me as it has for thousands of others.  If you, or someone you know suffers from vertigo, you may want to share this video with them.
