Two Sparrows and my hair number #539

I have no clue how many hairs I have on my head. I never think about it. I know I don’t have nearly as many as I did 20 years ago. But I don’t care about my hair. But apparently God does. He counted them all.

And are you in the market for some cheap birds? God will sell you a couple of do-nothing insignificant sparrows for one penny. What a bargain.

God favors the insignificant

take the hairs on my head. I could care less about them. They’re about the most insignificant thing about me. Of the few I have left I never give them a second thought’. On the other hand God must have thought my hairs were pretty important because He counted very last one of them.

And what about sparrows? They’re about the most insignificant bird in the sky/ In Jesus day you could buy 2 sparrows for a penny/ Yet not one sparrow fell to the ground outside the care of God.

God favors the insignificant
