If someone who knows you were a Christian and a follower of Christ came up to you and asked you, What do you truly believe? How would you confidently respond?
As a small boy I memorized and learned to recite the Apostle’s Creed. Its memory and words of belief and faith have remained in my heart all these many years and serve as my testimony about what I sincerely believe about God and life.
I believe in God, Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. On the third day he rose from the dead and ascended into heaven and sitith at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the Holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting.
